About GlucoCompare.ch

Independent information and comparison portal for blood glucose meters (BGM) and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems on the Swiss market.

What we do

GlucoCompare consolidates the glucose-monitoring devices and sensors available in Switzerland, standardises their technical specifications and combines them with public price information from pharmacies and online shops. The goal is a quick, transparent overview for patients, relatives and professionals — in particular for Type 2 diabetes and metabolic-health care.

Who is behind GlucoCompare

GlucoCompare is presented by Holosense, a Swiss metabolic-health data and devices company. Holosense is also building a companion App and an optional metabolic Health Check. No Holosense hardware is sold on this comparison site — it is intentionally designed as an independent information and comparison platform.

We make this relationship transparent so you know where the offer comes from when you click “Download the App” or “Book a Health Check”.

Data sources

  • Device specifications: official BGM/CGM directory of the Swiss Diabetes Association (January 2026 edition).
  • Prices: publicly available prices on Swiss pharmacy and online retailer websites (galaxus.ch, amavita.ch, coopvitality.ch, zurrose-shop.ch, diabetesprodukte.ch and others).
  • Insurance information: List of Aids and Appliances (MiGeL) of the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (BAG).

Data independence

Product data is collected independently of manufacturers and insurers. We accept no payments in exchange for inclusion or placement in the comparison. Affiliate or sponsorship links — if ever used — are clearly labelled.

Holosense’s own offers (App, Health Check) are clearly marked as such and sit alongside the comparison content, not as preferred recommendations inside the comparison.

Disclaimer {#disclaimer}

The information published on this site is provided exclusively for information, education and comparison purposes. It does not replace medical, pharmaceutical or insurance-law advice. Consult your doctor, diabetes care team or health insurer before making therapeutic decisions.

The optional Holosense Health Check includes a standard venous blood panel processed by accredited Swiss laboratory partners, supplemented by voluntary HSP1 pilot scans. HSP1 scans are a validation pilot and do not replace either the blood-test result or medical advice.

Prices and availability may change without notice. We strive for accurate data but accept no liability for the completeness or timeliness of individual entries.

Privacy {#privacy}

This site sets no tracking cookies. No personal data is collected or shared with third parties. External retailer links open in a new browser tab; we have no influence over their privacy practices.

If you sign up for the Holosense App or the Health Check, separate, granular and revocable consents apply, shown during the respective onboarding. Processing under Swiss data-protection law (FADP) and GDPR-equivalent standards.
